Virtual Rabbids: The Big Plan coming to Google Daydream

The VR game will be called Virtual Rabbids: The Big Plan and players will have to help a secret government agency to recover some missing nuclear codes that were stolen by a bunch of troublemakers.

In one level you find the Rabbids in a supermarket interfering with the grocery shopping. In another one, you must hand them some surgical equipment in an operating room God knows what for. We really hope that patient has a good insurance.

“Ubisoft is committed to exploring new technologies and platforms that deliver more immersive and interactive gaming experiences. We’re happy to bring Rabbids to Daydream as it enables us to offer players a high fidelity game in a mobile VR environment and we’re looking forward to explore the gameplay ideas and interactive opportunities on this new device for developers.”

Said Dominique Tardieu, Vice President Sales and Marketing, Ubisoft’s mobile business.

You might not have heard of them before but the Rabbids have been messing around since 2006, appearing in video games, merchandise, and even amusement parks. Ubisoft is reported to be working with Sony to make a movie about the Rabbids but not much is known about this.

While we wait to see more of the Rabbids, you can watch the trailer and tell us what you think.
