Step into the Games with VR Videos

You may have stepped into some 360-degree YouTube videos already, but since gaming videos are so popular –and lucrative- YouTube has made a partnership with publishers and creators to begin the production of Virtual Reality gaming videos so anyone can enjoy this experience with their Google Cardboard or Daydream headset.

All kinds of videos have been transformed into 360-degree experiences, gaming live action videos, Let’s Play footage, and even trailers. All of them collected into a single playlist that is now called “Step into the Games.” You will notice several popular titles such as Call of Duty, Need for Speed, Psychonauts, Super Mario Bros, and Minecraft.

In order to have a fully immersive experience, you will need to access the playlist through the YouTube VR app using your Google Cardboard or Daydream headset. The videos can be watched on a smartphone or a PC, but you would have to drag the screen to see your way around in the video.
