Customize Animated VR Avatars with Morph 3D
Many of us always wanted to create personal and unique 3D animated avatars for VR applications and this is now possible thanks to Morph 3D and its Ready Room.
Morph 3D Lets You Create Unique Virtual Reality Avatars
Morph 3D has created the Ready Room, a Virtual Reality space where you can customize your own virtual character using an HTC Vive VR headset. This avatar engine and character management system allows you to create an endless number of custom avatars that you can use in many VR applications and platforms.
The available virtual avatars are a subset of thousands of different app and game avatars that were created over the last few years by members of Daz 3D, which is an animation marketplace where artists can post and sell their creations. Morph 3D is actually a separate company and a brand from Daz 3D.
The company has more than 400 3D characters that can be used in Virtual Reality applications and these characters can each be morphed by using sliders to customize them as much as you want.
Morph 3D can save a lot of time For VR app and game developers and it works with the Unity engine, which allows developers to make it real easy for people to create their own custom characters in VR applications. Morph 3D and artists share revenues for the sale of VR avatars.
The character customization is a great feature both for developers and players. Developers are now able to use these already made VR characters in their games and consumers have a lot of fun creating, customizing and using their creations in various social VR apps.
