Batman: Arkham VR for HTC Vive and Oculus Rift
The Dark Knight will not be an exclusive VR game for the PlayStation system anymore, Batman will come to the HTC Vive and the Oculus Rift headsets very soon. Both versions are coming on April 25th, more than 6 months after the PlayStation 4 original release.
Batman: Arkham VR Has New Trailer for PC Lovers
Warner Bros. confirmed that the new Batman: Arkham versions will be compatible with the Vive and Oculus Touch controllers. In case you don’t have one you will be able to use standard gamepads for PC such as the Xbox One, Dualshock 4, and Steam controllers.
“Bringing Batman to VR was a very rewarding experience for us. The Dark Knight has always been an incredible character to work with due to his psychological depth, so it’s really exciting to use this immersive medium to delve deeper into his psyche than ever before. We’re thrilled that PC players can finally wear the cowl for themselves and take on the role of the world’s greatest detective with the addition of the HTC Vive and Oculus Rift versions.”
Said Sefton Hill, creative director at Rocksteady.
Batman: Arkham VR was the second most downloaded video game of the PlayStation Store in 2016, it was only beaten by Job Simulator. It is important to note that this isn’t Telltale’s version of the Batman saga, in this one you can feel and act as the real Dark Knight, it is probably one of the best and most immersive VR experiences.
