As reported by AR Porn Tube, an AR developer has released the first of its kind augmented reality anime porn app.

The app, named WaifuAR become available in July and originally featured one 3D female character. In true AR, the app allows users to position her in their physical environment and view her using their Android smartphone devices.

WaifuAR takes advantage of Google ARCore, allowing users to position the character without the need of a marker. All that is required is a flat surface where they can position her and she’ll appear as though she’s stood directly in front of them.

The first version of WaifuAR become available in July and was limited to one fully clothed blonde girl. However more recently, version 1.2 has been released which comes with a few extra benefits. In the newer version, users also have the option of a nude brunette anime character that features a more realistic skin-shader.

The apps creator has noted that he aims to further develop the animated Waifu and introduce additional features in the future such as making her customizable. Notably, his goal is to introduce AI features that will enable its users to have conversations with the augmented character appearing in front of them. He also aims to introduce ‘feelings’ such as happy, lonely, sad, etc.

WaifuAR’s creator said:

“With Waifu AR we offer interactive sexual content for mobile AR. Right now, we are working on an animated waifu and in the meantime, we use a placeholder waifu. Thanks to the latest technologies, we have been able to develop an exciting adventure for you without AR markers or anything else.”
