The virtual reality shooter game Borderlands 2 VR run as a PSVR-exclusive is coming to an end this fall and the game is officially being released for PC before the end of 2019, almost one year after the game’s initial virtual reality release on PlayStation VR in December 2018.

The PC version of the game will also add more DLC to the game known as Bad Ass Mega Fun Time; this will be a unique skill that will let players stop and have a little slow-motion contemplation about their next move during the battles. Sony will also be releasing free additional content for both platforms. The Bad Ass Mega Fun (BAMF) DLC will contain the following:

  • Sir Hammerlock’s Big Game Hunt
  • Captain Scarlet and Her Pirate’s Booty
  • Tiny Tina’s Assault on Dragon Keep
  • Torque’s Campaign of Carnage
  • Creature Slaughter Dome
  • Vault Hunter Heads and Skin packs
  • The Mechromancer and Psycho classes
  • Both of the Ultimate Vault Hunter Upgrade packs
  • All the Headhunter DLC packs

The PC version of Borderlands 2 VR will have both the base game along with all the content that is found in the BAMF DLC pack so players will not have to wait for a DLC update.

Sony hasn’t given an exact release date for Borderlands 2 VR or even when it might introduce the digital storefront. We will update our readers as these details emerge.

In the meantime, players can satisfy their Borderlands cravings with Borderlands 3 that is launching on September 13th 2019. It will be available on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Windows PC. Click here to check out the PC specs.
