GORN is Launching on Quest in January
Some months ago, GORN developer Free Lives had revealed that the comedic brawler would be launching on Quest and would be ported over to the platform by 24Bit Games, the studio that also did its PlayStation VR port.
Finally, the launch date for the title has been announced as January 28th.

GORN is incredibly popular with many PSVR and PC VR players. Soon, both Quest and Quest 2 owners will have the opportunity to immerse themselves into this indie success story.
GORN is all about violence and plenty of cartoon chaos. It looks like an episode from Happy Tree Friends. The title immerses the player into a classic gladiatorial arena where they have to vanquish successive waves of muscle-bound fighters. Players can use weapons, fists or the environment to win the game. When it comes to winning, anything goes on GORN.
Gladiators in the game will be coming at you in various guises ranging from the armour-clad assailants to unusual bosses and the basic lumbering idiots. Throughout the game, the overriding theme is that of visceral and stupid mayhem. Blood will be flying all over the place and lots of limbs and heads will be severed and bones broken in a melee combat sport.
The ragdoll effects in the game give it its daft aspect where opponents will be flung around easily. If the bloody stuff is getting over the top, you can switch to the Pinata mode of the game that offers you a less a gruesome gameplay.
On top of this, GORN can also get you to easily burn lots of calories and time. A single fight may degenerate into ten fights and you may soon find yourself getting into a sweaty mess from all your arm-swinging.
With the launch of the title now scheduled for 28th January 2021, Oculus Quest owners have something to look forward to because we aren’t expecting any major VR title launches between now and month-end.
