Amazon Prepares for the Black Friday with New iOS Update
Amazon updated its iOS app to include AR View, a new feature that leans heavily on Apple’s own ARKit (Augmented Reality Kit), this feature allows people to virtually place items in their home, allowing them to see how they fit and look before making the purchase.
The new functionality is integrated right into the iOS Amazon app, which you can download for free from the App Store. By selecting the camera icon within the app, customers can activate ARView. There are thousands of items available that you can virtually place throughout your home with this new feature.
In case you buy electronics or furniture, ARView can be really helpful whenever you need to make a new purchase. Customers can customize colors on virtual products using the app to match their home décor in order to find just the appropriate combination.
