HTC has published additional teaser images on its website for the Vive Flow event showing the likely Vive Flow glasses casing being used in two scenarios: during a meditation and while eating popcorns on a couch which is the cliché of someone watching movie.

In the meditation session shown above, rather slim display glasses could be projecting training information into the user’s field of vision. The previously published image of the Vive Flow on the notebook augers well with the tech glasses use-cases that expand the conventional display with an additional digital image surface.

The Nreal Light and the A3 glasses recently launched by Lenovo also provide a similar function. Both models probably fit well in the Vive Flow casing shown in the images in contrast to the rather clunky headsets that HTC has been building so far.

There is a high probability that HTC will showcase slim Vive glasses with a display and, possibly, an AR function for the first time during the unveiling event on October 14th. With the launch of the Vive Flow, HTC will be debuting a new product category, something the conventional VR headset manufacturers like Oculus are yet to accomplish.
