If you think that gyms have become too boring to do exercises, then you might be looking at the next form of entertaining training, if you are rich. The ICAROS is a full body flying suit that allows players to mount onto this heavy piece of metal and pretend they are some kind of pilots that for some reason need to use their body strength to maneuver what would appear to be a flying ship.

Virtual Reality Flying Exercising with ICAROS

Now, don’t get me wrong, putting yourself into an awkwardly sexy position to travel freely through the skies while burning some calories seems quite appealing, but paying $8000 to make entertaining exercise is something that not even Donald Trump would pay. “Outrageous, expensive, CANCEL that purchase right now” is something he would definitely tweet with his own ‘petit’ fingers.

The ICAROS is a fitness device and also a gaming controller. People can train their muscles and stimulate the capability of reaction and balance with it. Players can control and determine the diving path or flight path in-game by only using their movements on the ICAROS. When you see the videos it looks easy and straight forward, but it needs exercise in order to avoid crashing into the ground or some obstacle.

What You Need To Feel the ICAROS Experience

All you need to set up the ICAROS is the ICAROS itself, a wireless or wired VR headset, the ICAROS game downloaded and installed, and the included controller, which is attached to the handlebar and measures all of your movements. We have to say that the experience is very immersive and a lot of fun, and even though we can’t imagine people making lines to buy it in a Walmart, it is something we would like to see in the malls or even gyms.

Maybe we won’t need to pay the $8000 to fly with the ICAROS, let’s be clear, with that amount of money I can effortlessly fly to a 5-star hotel in some paradisiac Greek island. But, I would definitely pay to enjoy a 5-minute ride full of immersive emotions.
