The second installment of Jurassic World Aftermath is coming to Quest on September 30 and will be retailing at an additional price: $14.99.

The release of this part 2 rounds off the story that has been on a cliffhanger in part one that was released in December 2020. The game’s launch as an episodic title last year raised some eyebrows as it was totally unexpected. During the release of its part one, the developer did not mention its release structure anywhere on its store page.

Close to a year later, we are finally seeing the release of part two of the Aftermath on September 30 which comes with an additional purchase price at $14.99. The part will, therefore not be a free update for owners of the first release.

According to an Oculus blog post, part two of the Aftermath begins right where part one left it off and players will be “sneaking through brand new locations” which will include “Dr. Henry Wu’s private office” along with “an underground facility hidden far from the public’s prying eyes.”

A trailer released of part two of the aftermath has the familiar voice of Jeff Goldblum who voices Dr. Ian Malcolm. In part one of the Aftermath, he was in some voice-logs as well as alongside BD Wong as Dr. Henry Wu.

The biggest moment in part two that many fans are also eager to see is the encounter with the infamous T-rex. This franchise-defining dino was also in part one albeit briefly in certain sections. In the new installment of the Aftermath, fans are expecting a much bigger encounter.

Jurassic World Aftermath: Part 2 arrives on September 30 on Oculus Quest.
