Demo: Synthesis Universe Maze on Oculus Share
If you’re a die-hard fan of ‘Tron’ and also happen to own an Oculus Rift headset, then you’ll be sure to enjoy this latest virtual reality game by the name of Synthesis Universe Maze. The demo version of this game has been uploaded to Oculus Share and is available for download.
Oculus Share was basically developed to give the Oculus Rift team a chance to show off their work and other new projects to their fan base and tech geeks. The hottest new demo to hit the market ‘Synthesis Universe Maze’ has been worked on by Independent developer OlivierJT. The developer is already very well known in technological circles because of his previous ventures. He has a pretty substantial fan following largely due to his belief that virtual reality should be brought to the mainstream consumer, not just beta testers and technology labs.
Synthesis Universe (the original version) was showcased sometime earlier this year and was experienced through the Oculus Rift headset. One drawback of this though, was that the game was completely non-interactive. The trailer was very impressive though and revealed a reel of cinematic sequences from the game. With the launch of the second version, i.e. Synthesis Universe Maze, experts believe that it will be a much richer experience for the player and is also supported by the Oculus Rift development kit (DK2).
Synthesis Universe belongs to the science fiction genre in virtual reality video games. It reveals the main character as an android (the player himself) and in the initial part of the game shows your body being put together seconds after Synthesis Universe Maze starts. Unreal Engine 4 is being used to develop this game; the progress on the visuals of the game (after the first release) is immense and immediately noticeable.
For the moment, Synthesis Universe Maze is only available for play on a gamepad set up with a mouse and keyboard. But the developer OlivierJT has claimed that soon he will make the game compatible with almost all devices that support virtual reality gaming. He has put in a lot of time and effort to uplift the field of virtual reality gaming in the world of technology. OlivierJT has been trying his hardest to grow the virtual reality community and believes that soon, he will be successful in his goal. Virtual Reality Times will closely follow the progress of Synthesis Universe Maze and update you about any new details, as soon as they are released!
