PSVR Shooter Farpoint Launches on May 16th 2017
The PlayStation Virtual Reality system will finally have an exclusive and entertaining shooter for itself, it’s called Farpoint and it’s almost ready.
The PlayStation VR Welcomes a New Shooter
Farpoint was announced during last year E3 by Impulse Gear and the development team behind this VR shooter claim it will launch on May 16th of 2017. The game looks very polished and dynamic, but the PlayStation seems more than capable of running it smoothly.
The video game has been designed to work with the upcoming PlayStation VR Aim controller, a gun-like gadget that simulates real gun that can be used in virtual reality environments. Both the game and the controller are interesting additions for the PSVR headset, which has been purchased by millions already.
There are videos and pictures of Farpoint gameplay and the synchronization and realistic feeling that the PSVR controller provides is astounding. We can’t wait to see its release in the next few months.
“Farpoint is an unnerving VR space adventure set on a hostile alien planet. On a mission to pick up scientists studying an anomaly near Jupiter, a rupture from the anomaly transports the player and scientists to an unknown alien world.”
