After last year’s announcement and a long wait, we finally have a release date for the Wolfenstein: Youngblood as Machine Guns and Bethseda have just announced that the game will be released on July 26th. The game developers have also stated that the game will be available on Switch in addition to the previously confirmed platforms which included PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC platforms.

The announcement of the release date was accompanied by a trailer of the game from the Bethseda and it looks great. Youngblood is set 19 years following the events that happened in the second game. In Youngblood, BJ Blazkowicz, who is a hero in the American revolution is missing. You will be playing with one of Terror Billy’s twin daughters, Jess and Soph Blazskowicz, who have been forced into action after years of training and guidance from their dad and they will partner with a new cast of freedom fighters and put up with sounds and twisted sights of an alternative reality 1980s Paris. One of the sisters will be an artificial intelligence (AI) controller. However, the player is also permitted to co-opt and it is from here that the plot will get really interesting.

You can buy the Wolfenstein: Young Blood Deluxe Edition which allows you to tag a friend along. The game developer hasn’t revealed prices yet in the local stores although on Steam you can pre-purchase the Wolfenstein: Youngblood for $29.99 and the Wolfenstein: Youngblood Deluxe for $39.99. The Deluxe Edition offers you some extra cosmetics and the “Buddy” Pass that allows you to send along so they can join you in the Nazi-killing adventures without they necessarily having to pay for the game.

The Wolfenstein: Cyberpilot is also an alternate history virtual reality rendering of the revolution against the Nazis. Also set in Paris in 1980, the player is cast the best hacker in town whose mission is to help the French resistance in taking control of powerful Nazi war machines. You will gun down, ram and burn your way through the City of Love in your rampage against the goose-stepping Nazis. The Cyberpilot will cost $20 and PSVR owners who pre-order will also get the Wolfenstein: Cyberpilot official static theme.
