Junkerry Makes Her First VR Music Video
You might not know her but Junkerry is a talented contemporary pop artist that is about to release one of the world’s first Virtual Reality music videos for her new single ‘As We Are’ from the forthcoming EP ‘Tales From The Bright Side’.
‘As We Are’ Uses Designs Made With Tilt Brush
Junkerry uses the latest art software, her exquisite voice and an electric guitar, to create her entirely unique single ‘As We Are’. The 2D video is already available and will soon be reformed into a Virtual Reality video to immerse you in a musical experience like no other.
The French pop artist collaborated with London illustrator, Patrick Morgan, and the Google Tilt team, to create the mesmerizing 2D video that will so be available for several VR headsets.
“As We Are” gives the feeling of self-exploration and expressing. The process embraces the world of the digital native and it is the first track from the forthcoming EP “Tales from The Bright Side.”
The drawings for the video were created by artist Patrick Morgan using the Google Tilt brush, a virtual paint brush, which is likely to be the future of virtual creation and a revolutionary way of using VR to create art. It is also referred as ‘Digi-primitivism,” the use of primitive techniques of drawing through contemporary digital software.
