Croteam Makes VR Remake of Serious Sam
If you love first-person shooters and are old enough to remember good old classics, then you will be happy to know that Serious Sam is back with VR versions.
Serious Sam VR for the Oculus Rift and the HTC Vive
Croteam announced that ‘The First Encounter’ and ‘The Second Encounter’, versions of the famous Serious Sam shooter and the first games of this franchise. The games have been remastered in HD and also ported to Virtual Reality. They feature the complete single-player campaigns and also multiplayer and cooperative modes, which can include up to 15 people.
Both versions feature teleportation movement system or full locomotion via the trackpad. Players will be able to choose either way and adjust the settings to suit their styles.

That’s right, SSVR: TSE will be getting a free Fusion 2017 update, bringing cross-platform co-op and other multiplayer modes (VR vs non-VR) and Steam Workshop support.”
Serious Sam VR: The Last Hope, which would be the series’ third title, was present at the 2016 E3 conference and it is currently available on Steam via Early Access. Steam is even offering a bundle with the three versions with a discount, the offers last until April 11th. There are words of the fourth version being developed, Serious Sam 4, but it is still unknown when would it be released.
