A week ago, Beat Saber promised that it would be unveiling new songs this week. Its official Twitter account teased some of the songs with the developer stating that the release would happen “if everything goes well”. The teaser included an image of a cat that the developer stated would somehow be connected to one of the songs that it had planned to release:

Well, the release has finally happened and the new Beat Saber tracks are here. They are quite an insane set of beats. All the free tracks are from Camellia and include Cycle Hit, Crystallized along with the cat-themed WHAT THE CAT!? which beat Saber teased a week ago. A brief of the clip of the latter song is available in the tweet below. Even for the more capable Beat Saber players, this beat looks quite crazy!

This could as well be Beat Saber’s hardest song ever. The new beats updates should already be available for all players who are on Quest, PSVR and PC VR.

This is, however, not the end of the new hit tracks from Beat Saber as the developers are yet to release its official third content pack. This new pack will add 10 extra songs and will go for about $9.99.

These three represent the first songs to be released for Beat Saber for quite some time. Beat Saber’s second premium content back was launched over E3 last month. During the event, the Beat Games team had also revealed details of the first-ever 360-degree levels for Beat Saber which are coming to Oculus Quest. Beat Saber enthusiasts are currently eagerly waiting for the third premium content pack so Beat Saber fans still have plenty to look forward to in the not so distant future. Beat Games hasn’t divulged any dates yet on when these will arrive.

There will certainly be more surprises in the coming months to keep you slicing.
