FEARVR: 5150, The Most Realistic Horror Experience

The 4D Virtual Reality experience will debut at three Cedar Fair Entertainment Parks, and each one will have its own version of real-life scare elements, so the FEARVR:5150 will be different in each venue.

  • Knott’s Berry Farm, Buena Park, CA (Knott’s Scary Farm),
  • Canada’s Wonderland, Ontario, Canada (Halloween Haunt)
  • California’s Great America, Santa Clara, CA (Halloween Haunt)

This is the first time for Cedar Fair to host such a realist horror entertainment, the 4D immersive experience will scare the heck out of guests by making them feel trapped inside a real horror movie. They will first be greeted by some threatening nurses at the Meadowbrook Institute, and then become the latest occupants in that shadowy place.

After checking in, the guests turned into patients will be warned of a dangerous, ‘telekinetic’ female inmate that goes by the name of “Katie,” and she has suddenly gone missing (because everything goes wrong in horror movies). But don’t worry, as a patient, you will safely remain strapped to a special wheelchair, scared to death while the entire facility unravels with horrific evil. At some point, you may wish it ends very soon, but you will enjoy it either way.
