VirZoom Showcases $99 Bike VZ Sensor

The company developed the VZ Sensor, this tiny gadget can attach itself to any stationary bike and turn it into a VR ready stationary bike. It only costs $99 and it will enable you to work in Virtual Reality in the most immersive of ways from the safety and comfort of your home.

VirZOOM is a Virtual Reality workout company that tries to make training much more fun with immersive scenarios and virtual reality. There are several options to choose from, including tank demos and road cycling. The company is working with Oculus Rift HTC Vive, PlayStation VR and starting this week it will also include the Samsung Gear VR headset. The Google Daydream is expected to join the VR workout party anytime soon. In case you happen to own a Samsung Smartwatch, you could synchronize it with the system to make it gather and share info such as your heart rate and distance to measure your efforts.

The VZ Sensor is cheap enough to make it an affordable gadget for people that want to experience this immersive kind of workout experiences. You still have to hold a controller while you ride your bike but this won’t bother you at all.
