Varjo Technologies announced it demonstrated the first Human eye-resolution Virtual Reality headset in the world for upcoming immersive computing products.

Finnish Company Varjo Emerges from Stealth to Showcase 20|20

The 20/20 was designed for professionals and it features an overwhelming resolution that is 70 times beyond any other VR headset in the market. This important technology breakthrough allows previously unthinkable levels of realism in Virtual Reality, Augmented Reality, and also Mixed Reality.

Varjo achieved this with a patented technology that can replicate the work of a human eye, it basically creates high-resolution images exactly where the user is looking at. This combines with VST (video-see-through) technology for Augmented and Mixed Reality capabilities.

Varjo’s prototype is based on avant-garde technology developed by a team of creatives, scientists, and developers from important companies such as Rovio, Nvidia, Intel, Nokia, and Microsoft. We won’t see this technology until late Q4 of 2017 in some professional products and applications.

Varjo showcased 20|20 to more than 30 journalists and analysts from all over the world.
