Meta Quest TV offers an impressive array of immersive movies and classic theatrical films. You can watch these alone or get some virtual company to keep things fun. However, it is a challenge navigating your way around the app to find a desired movie.

The movie selections change based on your region just like on Netflix. Although most of the movies on Meta Quest TV are cheap horror flicks, the lineup also includes some gems.

There is, for instance, Darren Aronofsky’s 2000 drama Requiem for A Dream portraying the lives of four people living in Brooklyn, New York and who have plunged into drug addiction.

There is also the horror movie 1408, one of the best ever, which is an adaptation of Stephen King’s short story that goes by the same name. In this movie, John Cusack is cast as a disillusioned author writing books on haunted places although he doesn’t believe in the supernatural until he checks into room 1408 at the Dolphin Hotel in New York City in spite of being warned by the hotel manager (played by Samuel L. Jackson).

Another interesting movie in the lineup is the science fiction thriller Source Code starring Jake Gyllenhaal. In the movie, a U.S. Army Captain is using advanced technology to immerse himself into the stream of consciousness of deceased people so as to prevent a terrorist attack.

Finding Movies on Meta Quest TV

The movie selection available to you depends on the region you are living in. Log in to Meta Quest TV and you might just find a movie very much to your liking.

However, the app doesn’t give you a quick and straightforward way of displaying 2D movie content. You may find a desired movie category when scrolling down. Type “movies” in the search box and then scroll down until you arrive at the desired movie category. Then choose “View More” and a selection of all the 2D movies available appears.

In case you have friends on Meta Quest, you can invite them to watch the movies together inside your own virtual living room in Horizon Home.

However, there is no way of checking out the movies available on Meta Quest TV on the Meta Quest companion app or browser.
