World’s First Interactive Sci-Fi VR Show: Trinity
VR production studio, UNLTD, announced that it’s developing the world’s first interactive science fiction television show. The studio announced Trinity, a TV show set in a distant future where mankind has gone completely extinct. There are only a few androids left on planet Earth and the story depicts the robotic resistance against an all-powerful singularity that intends to destroy them.
Trinity VR will be Available for all Platforms
John Hamilton, Trinity producer, promises the TV show will be an experience that would enable viewers to freely move around and interact in every episode in ways that have not been seen in the past. Trinity will be split into five 15-minute episodes which will be available on every VR platform.
UNLTD developed its own virtual reality camera to film Trinity in order to produce a show that could be considered immersive enough. You can have an idea of the beautiful aesthetics of this live action show by watching the 2D trailer, it combines a mix of interactive engines, high-end visual effects, and 360 scripting.
It’s good to see that good VR content is being developed for all available platforms for a change, this is quite unusual in the virtual reality industry. We don’t know yet when will it be released but ‘selected partners’ will receive a pilot this coming fall.
