No Limits 2

One of the most popular genres in today’s video games is roller coaster simulations. Ever since the usage of virtual reality has grown, so has the development of such games.

A lot of developers have been working on creating exhilarating roller coaster rides for fans. Most of them have been successful in duplicating coasters seen around the world in famous theme parks and other places. The drawback of these games is that the player can only ride the roller coaster once. If they want to go again, they’ll just keep repeating the same ride again and again which makes the whole experience null and void. Repetition is just not fun when it comes to coaster rides. To counter these complaints, a whole new roller coaster video game has been released this week by the name of “NoLimits 2”. This thrilling game will be compatible with Oculus Rift’s new virtual reality headset.

The developing team behind the fantastic NoLimits 2 has added support for the second development kit created by Oculus Rift known as DK2. NoLimits 2 is a very creatively developed game which was made with the goal of keeping players entertained even after the initial ride. The developers did not create NoLimits 2 for the purpose of being a one ride wonder; it offers much, much more to users than just one amazing roller coaster ride. It allows players to put together their personal roller coasters with a unique individual style, across 37 different options given in the game. A square mile of work space is allotted to each player within which they are given full creative liberty to craft their roller coasters. Another great option that the developers have added is the ability to edit the theme park. The park editor is integrated within the game and will give players a chance to try their hand at constructing the theme park as well as the coaster. Along with detailed surroundings with a highly accurate game interface, the players can also construct multiple roller coasters per park.

Steam is currently selling a standard version of NoLimits 2 for $39.99 USD/£27.99 GBP. To add more licenses, players will have to purchase this version and then upgrade to the ‘Professional Version’. The game is also available on the official website (link given in references section). Virtual Reality Times will keep checking the progress on NoLimits 2 and report back with any updates released by the developers.
