New Beat Saber Update Adds 46 New Beatmaps
Beat Games has released Beat Saber version 1.10.0. The new update comes with new bug fixes along with the promised 46 new beatmaps for the existing songs.
Beat Saber players have now gotten used to having new songs whenever a new update is released. Beat Saber’s Memorial Day update offers one of the biggest updates yet with its 46 new beatmaps to play through. A total of 18 songs have been updated with new beatmaps in the latest update.
There are new 90-degree and 360-degree levels including Reason for Living, Rum ‘N Bass, Has a Meaning, LUV U NEED U, Fire Ready Aim, The Greatest Show, Escape, Rattlesnake, Digital and POP/STARS.
There are also Single Saber additions such as Believer, This Time, Reason for Living, High Hopes, Unlimited Power, While We’re Young, Believer, Origins, American Idiot and PLAY. In the new mode, each of these songs will feature levels of difficulties that range from normal to expert+ difficulty level.
Beat Games has released this update for all Beat Saber versions including Quest, Rift, SteamVR and the PlayStation VR platforms. The PlayStation update has been delayed for a little longer but it should be coming out very soon.
Because these free content updates are only beatmaps and are not new songs, the update is fairly small and will only take a few seconds to download. Anyone with a Beat Saber on their headsets can try out these new levels by simply updating the app to version 1.10.0.
The update also features the typical feature and bug fixes that usually come with most Beat Saber updates. These new updates include the following: –
- The controller button mapping that was caused by an incorrectly detected Rift devices has been fixed.
- The previous display of an invalid player name in the leaderboards has been fixed.
- The issue where the grid in the beatmap Level Editor was not being shown at times has been fixed.
- The bug which caused players to lose audio and cover image files when they are saving a project in the beatmap Level Editor has also been fixed.
The new update should provide the rhythm game’s enthusiasts more great ways to move around while observing the quarantine rules during the 2020 Memorial Day celebrations.
