VR Cover Introduces New Color Options for its Quest 2 Range
VR Cover has introduced new color choices for its Quest range of accessories. Additionally, the VR accessory maker has also restocked several of its products.
The company has also expanded its range of controller protector product portfolio. These include a new silicone cover for Oculus Quest 2 Touch controller tracking rings.
VR Cover has been a major player in the VR hardware accessory market and currently produces accessories for virtually every major VR headset in the market.
The latest range of products it has launched focuses on the Oculus Quest 2 headset and include a silicone facial interface that can be used in place of the standard foam Facebook that Facebook provides.
You can now purchase the silicone cover in mint and orange colors. Previously, the covers were only available in blue, black and red colors among others.
VR Cover had previously launched the Quest 2 controller grips in other regions apart from the European market. They have now available in Europe in dark and light grey colors. The grips provide protection for the controller body and are built with straps that work like Valve Index controllers and secure the user’s hands, making it possible for them to release their grip without dropping the controllers.
VR Cover has also released new ‘Halo Controller Protectors’ which protect the Quest 2 controllers’ tracking rings.
Like the grips, the new protectors are a silicone wrap for the tracking ring in the controller which VR Cover says give extra protection in accidental collisions with the surrounding environment during VR sessions.
According to the company, the large holes in the protectors featured in the design also mean that there is no impact in the controller tracking.
VR Cover has also restocked the standard facial interface and foam replacement kit for Oculus Quest 2 in its European store. The products will be restocked in the company’s US and worldwide store in the coming weeks.
