Share and Remix Sketches on Google TiltBrush
Google Tilt Brush got a new update that includes a set of new features that allow users to tweak the environment for more dynamic color and lighting options. But that’s not all: The VR application now has its own Social Website where users can upload their artworks for other people to download them and even remix them.
Google Tilt Brush gets New Update
The new art-sharing hub is an exciting addition to the app. Once you upload a piece to the website, anyone can view your artwork in 3D using their browser, people can like it and even download it to modify it themselves using Tilt Brush. The ability to share these beautiful or funny VR pieces of art was desired by many. But there are features that people want and they are still missing, like commenting or following accounts.
All art pieces uploaded to the website will automatically include attribution and will also have a remixable CC-BY license added by default. Which is pretty good for any type of art because it avoids losing its source while it’s being shared all over the internet.
The Google TiltBrush also has a new environmental panel is pretty cool. People can now add a standard sky and customize it. Lighting gets a set of new options as well, instead of inserting objects that emanate light, people can now drop in key, secondary and fill interesting lighting effects in order to get a good mix of shadow and highlight. Also, the user interface is even more customizable than before.
