Is This Counter-Strike VR? No, it’s Pavlov VR!
Pavlov VR is an indie-created VR team shooter created by davevillz, and it recently received an update that makes the game like new and very exciting.
Pavlov VR is the Counter-Strike of VR Games
Pavlov is pretty much CS:GO in virtual reality and it’s quite amazing, so much that it is hard to believe that this wasn’t developed by a big software company.
Pavlov was designed and published by one anonymous person. He is known online by his Steam profile name, davevillz, and he released an update that brings a lot of interesting new features that include several maps that are reminiscent of Counter-Strike’s most iconic ones.
Pavlov has a game mode called ‘search and destroy map’ that has two teams competing to place and detonate a bomb, preventing such bomb to explode, or simply eliminating the other team. Yes, just like a common Counter-Strike match but in VR, and that is why people love it.
The Pavlov update also makes the game compatible with Steam Workshop and allows players to create their own VR maps.
Details of the New Update
First Search and destroy map is fully added, there have been some major changes for balancing reasons. I hope you enjoy this as much as I did making it!
Workshop (Custom Maps)
Aside from the new map I’ve worked really hard on getting custom map support as early as possible. The reception has been overwhelming and there’s already maps ready to download and play. I’m so grateful to have such dedicated community members. Many thanks to you guys!
For a better S&D experience player cap has been increased to 10 players per server. It’s fun, I’ll leave it like that
I’ve migrated to another provider, please let me know how these servers feel like or/and if you’re having issues connecting, lagging, etc, etc.”
