MARS 2030

Visit the Red Planet in Virtual Reality with Mars 2030

Mars 2030 was created in collaboration with NASA with real orbital satellite data, which allows players to explore 15 square miles of real Mars’ surface. The result is actually very realistic and immersive, showing the red planet as it is really is.

Users are welcomed to study Mars’ geology, explore its varied terrain and take a closer look at particular weather conditions of the red planet. Players will also be able to drive several vehicles and share the planet with a friendly robot as they collect samples. Mars 2030 is compatible with position-tracked controllers like the PlayStation Move, the Vive Wands, and the Oculus Touch.

“Experience what it’s like to set foot on Mars and take in expansive vistas, accurately mapped and modeled using Orbiter Hi-Rise satellite data. Explore and study the planet’s geology, including its dangerous lava tubes, frozen lakes, and impressive mountain peaks as you leave the safety of the astronaut Habitat. Uncover the terrain’s history while facing realistic weather conditions, atmospheric pressure, and partial gravity challenges, and discover its deepest secrets. You can navigate the enormous environment wearing the actual spacesuit prototype being considered for the mission to Mars and drive the Centaur, one half humanoid robot, the other half Rover!”

This amazing experience will only cost you $14.99 and you can download it on the PlayStation VR or your VR-ready PC.
