New Spider Man VR Update Packs Some New Surprises
There is a new Spider Man VR update that offers enthusiasts lots of new surprises including new missions and much more. The Update 1.01 was unveiled for the PSVR version yesterday and comes with two new trials, two new combat trials along with five new pins that users can discover.
These challenges are available in the game’s Free Play mode where players can swing around the city at will. With the time trials, players will be web-swinging via the gates as fast as they can. The combat trials, on the other hand, will pit the players in a battle against drones. The pins will be concealed around the city in the game for the players to discover.
The latest update has also come with some enhancements and bug fixes. However, the update is yet to reach other virtual reality headsets but it may just be a matter of time before we see it in other devices.
The latest take on Spider-Man in virtual reality is quite a cool one and it ties nicely with the recently released movie. Unlike the Marvel Powers United VR or the Spider-Man: Homecoming VR, the latest iteration lets the player swing around the city of New York. As good as it gets, the game is not perfect, though. However, it gets so many things right that you will enjoy it wholesomely, especially where it allows you to really swing across the New York city skyline in VR as Spiderman. Another good thing about the latest update is that it is free so even if you meet a few glitches here and there, there really isn’t much to complain about.
Sony Pictures Virtual Reality had revealed early this month that it was planning to bring the app to Oculus Quest. Users will also be hoping for a native Valve Index support that will give users a feel of actually shooting the webs themselves. The success of the Spider Man VR could also lead to a much bigger and brighter display of the Spider-Man adventure displays in the future.
More Spider-Man VR updates will be certainly be coming soon.
