About ‘Electronauts’
Electronauts was launched more than one year ago and it brought with it the high-vibe energy of electronic music remixed to virtual reality. It has since become one of the most innovative and a critically-acclaimed VR music experience.
Electronauts is suited for both trained musicians and novices who have never held a musical instrument. It is a neon-drenched musical experience that immerses you into a world of electronic ecstasy. It doesn’t matter if you are a club kid, this VR music game is guaranteed to get you in the groove. The new Heatwave update released three days ago brings more than 35 new music tracks to the Rift and Quest platform.
The new update has almost doubled the full track list of the game and includes EDM hits along with lots of summer jams thereby giving fans of the game lots to enjoy.
Electronauts has captivated a small but vibrant niche of users that love music-making and creative tools in virtual reality. What has been missing was a bigger lineup of songs. Fans have been asking for more and this update goes a long way in delivering that.
Electronauts fanbase are also using the platform in very creative ways ranging from dynamic duos in multiplayer (like in the video above) to doing livestreams that feature impromptu tutorials. The tool has tapped into and unleashed the collective creativity of people who are already creative as well as those who might simply want to tap into their creative side for fun or as a hobby. No matter their music-making skills, Electronauts will make everyone feel like a great DJ, delivering several hours of immersion in the joy of music-making.
Survios had been working on integrating new tracks onto the platform through a collaboration with the Norwegian music producers and Grammy award-winning music producers Stargate which compiled the Electronauts music from internationally-acclaimed artists, producers as well as DJs working in various genres.
Adventures on the High Seas
Survios is also busy working on a seafaring combat game known as Battlewake which will launch on the major virtual reality platforms later this year. Battlewake will put players in vehicular combat on water in virtual reality, one of the first such experiences ever created so far. For players worried about the possibility of motion sickness in the game, Survios says that it has created the technology that will help combat that.
More news on the Battlewake combat game will be coming out in the weeks ahead so keep your eyes and ears open.
Zombie Onslaught
Survios is continuing on its path of innovation in other frontiers. One of its other projects is a new progressive dismemberment technology that the company had developed exclusively for The Walking Dead Onslaught.
The Walking Dead Onslaught comes with a bumper harvest of gore. If you are a huge fan of the zombie genre and of the Walking Dead onslaught as a whole, you will definitely love this. According to Survios’ Kitagawa, this game will take the “visceral melee combat” to a whole new level.
