This being an episodic experience, it picks up from where the previous one left off. Its plot centers around Darth Vader teaching the player how to use the Force and embrace their anger in order to control life and death. The episode takes the player to Mustafar where they can master the ways of the Force from the Sith Lord himself. The players will be immersed beneath Vader’s castle to fight new enemies. The episode also introduces new characters like the droid which features the voice of actor Maya Rudolph. There are other interesting plot twists that the player encounters along the way.

In episode II, ILMxLab aimed to build on the story’s and gameplay’s foundations. The writer David S. Goyer was brought back in and the studio also worked with Lucasfilm to give the story a more canonical angle.

The Episode II features a major gameplay advancement in terms of its simplified mechanics. Players can now make use of a single button to start the activation of the Force powers including flinging the objects or stunning your enemies.

Just like in the previous iteration, the Episode II also combines a narrative experience with the light saber dojo in which the player is able to deploy the Force to take on their adversaries.
