Narrative Adventure ‘Vanishing Grace’ Comes to Quest this Month
Vanishing Grace is a promising narrative VR adventure that is now set to launch on Quest this month.
The developer Monte Perdido confirmed last week that the title will launch on Oculus Quest on February 11th and will be available for $19.99. The team also revealed that it might release Quest 2-specific upgrades in the future.
The title is now listed under the Coming Soon section of the Oculus Store and is slated for a February release. The developer Monte Perdido has already released the Vanishing Grace launch trailer which you can watch below. The trailer provides an overview of the storyline along with the gameplay mechanics.
A player in Vanishing Grace will embody a Joel, a man searching for his missing childhood friend, Grace. Grace leaves behind a trail that Joel follows using a desert-cruising hovercraft. You will need to maintain the hovercraft as you are travelling and you will be visiting the sites which Grace travelled to in order to glean out additional clues.
Vanishing Grace has compelling interactions along with detailed environments that you can weave through the mystery of the plot. In the trailer, you can see a lot of new environments than those that the developer had initially featured in the demo so there is plenty to discover in the Quest debut of the game next week.
Monte Perdido is also hoping to release the title on both Oculus Rift and PSVR in the future. Planning to check out Vanishing Grace on Quest? Share your experience with us in the comment section.
