A number of PlayStation VR 2 titles are launching this month. Here is a brief overview of the virtual reality games that will debut this month.

Toss!

In Toss!, you will crash and land on a cloud planet. You will be climbing, shimming, and swinging through nine cloud biomes and 75 levels as you look for spare parts for your spaceship. There is extra challenge and variety in the gameplay thanks to the achievements, modifiers, and time trials along with the multiplayer mode.

Toss! Launches on September 7th for PlayStation VR 2, Steam VR, and Meta Quest.

Pixel Ripped 1995

Pixel Ripped 1995 is a throwback to the 16-bit era as you assume the role of David who simply sits in front of the TV and plays SNES throughout the day to the annoyance of his mother.

Beyond the mother’s vexation, there are other factors at stake in the game. There is the video game villain Cyblin Lord, intent on once again taking over the real world, thereby blurring the line between the game and reality.

Pixel Ripped 1995 is set for release on September 12th. It is an improved version of the PC VR original that was released in 2020.

Alvo

Alvo is a tactical shooter that is inspired by Counter-Strike. It releases this month to take on Pavlov, the top title in the genre.

Alvo will offer a tactical gaming experience with various modes including free-for-all, team deathmatch as well as search and destroy. Alvo has a difficulty level that will work for beginners and professional players alike. It supports cross-platform 5v5 matches in online multiplayer games. The title is set to be released on September 14th.

Behind the Frame

Gazzlers is a cuter version of Mad Max. As you embark on a journey to the temple of the machine god, a horde of screeching creatures will chase you through the desert and you must blast them into smithereens.

Progressing through the game, you will be collecting “scrap” and upgrading your skills. There is additional variety and excitement in the game thanks to the modifiers, a large arsenal of weapons along roguelite elements.

The game will be released on September 14th on various platforms including Meta Quest, PlayStation VR 2, and SteamVR.

Broken Edge

If you love online duels, you will enjoy this tactical swordplay game. It features a variety of historically inspired classes with each having its own fighting style like the Samurai, the Knight, the Swordsman as well as the Barbarian.

Broken Edge is already available on other virtual reality platforms. Its PSVR 2-optimized version launches this month and will support the Sense controllers’ adaptive triggers. It also supports eye tracking and haptic feedback.

Broken Edge arrives on PlayStation VR 2 on September 19th.

Ruinsmagus: Complete

The fantasy JRPG Ruinsmagus was released on Meta Quest and PCVR in 2022. Now it is set to be released on PlayStation VR 2. The Ruinsmagus Complete Edition features the main game, The Warrior, Tailor DLC as well as the Remix Update.

The Complete Edition also has hardware upgrades like adaptive trigger support, haptic headset feedback, and 3D audio support.

Ruinsmagus: Complete arrives on PlayStation VR 2 on September 19th.

Hellsweeper VR

You will be helping the creatures which will open up new paths for you. The game has unobtrusive mechanics and puzzles that will naturally fit into the game world. The physics of the game impressively and realistically simulate elements like water and sand.

Paper Beast Enhanced Edition provides a graphically enhanced iteration of the 2020 original for PC VR and PSVR 1. It is scheduled to debut on PlayStation VR 2 on September 27th.
