Tetris Effect Coming to PCS on July 23rd
The effects-laden and music-rich VR game Tetris Effect was once a console-exclusive and was translated into one of the best virtual reality games ever created. The game is now coming to PC but it will be available exclusively on the Epic Games Store just like many of the new releases in the recent months.
With PC support for Tetris Effect, you won’t have to splurge on a PS4 to enjoy the game. The PC support begins on July 23rd so if you love playing it the traditional way, you can latch onto your PC in less than a week and enjoy the super high-definition experience with 4K resolutions, unlocked frame rates as well as an ultrawide monitor support. After release, Tetris Effect will also offer support for both HTC Vive and Oculus Rift, allowing the owners of these headsets to immerse themselves deep into the psychedelic experience.
In a blow to Steam fans, the game is only available on the Epic Games Store. However, if you purchase or pre-order the game within the first two weeks, you can grab the 20% discount along with free wallpapers and soundtrack sampler.
Try it out on PC. You will definitely enjoy it if you have been a big fan of the original Tetris. It makes for a therapeutic and even concentration-inducing experience. Tetris Effect is a hypnotic and beautiful recreation of the classic game. Apart from some odd difficulty levels, there is plenty more to enjoy in this game which was rated as one of the best virtual reality games in 2018.
