Tarzan VR is an upcoming single-player VR game and it appears the gameplay will be an action-packed dive into the jungle according to the game’s latest trailer.
The new mixed reality trailer was released by the game’s publisher Fun Train and Developer Stonepunk Studios last week. The trailer was stitched together by Splitverse. The mixed reality video gives us a glimpse into some of the mechanics of the game that will be in the official Tarzan VR trailer. The game has been planned to support various virtual reality platforms including Valve Index, Oculus Rift (S), Vive and PSVR.
The gameplay is action-packed and includes swimming, swinging as well as fighting with different kinds of weapons. It will also feature Tarzan’s skills such as “Earth Vision” and “Call of the Wild”. The developers have stated that they are planning to release the game episodically and that it will arrive in three “issues”.
Issue 1: The Great Ape
In this issue, Jane has been abducted by a group of invaders and Tarzan has to seek wisdom of The Great Ape to discover the trail of her mysterious abductors. This issue will also feature The Mighty Axe.
Issue 2: Jagged Edge
In this issue, Tarzan starts his pursuit of the Jane’s captors and he must across the deadly Cliffs of Kombatu where single misstep could spell doom. This issue features the Slingshot.
Issue 3: The Dead of Night
The night draws near in this issue and there are lots of hidden dangers in the jungle swamp. The life of Tarzan’s true love can only be saved by a strange fruit which is found in the heart of the Valley of Eden. This issue features The Long Bow.
