Star Wars: Tales from the Galaxy Part II Comes to Quest Later in 2021
Last week, immersive entertainment studio ILMxLAB and Oculus revealed that Star Wars: Tales From the Galaxy’s Edge Part II will be coming to Oculus Quest later in the year.
Star Wars: Tales From the Galaxy’s Edge (2020) was released for Quest in November 2020. It offers players an action-adventure experience that immerses the player right in the middle of a conflict involving two space pirates. The player must recover some important (also very recognizable) stolen droids. You will also be blasting away at the enemy pirates and scrounging for different kinds of loot. Although you are not cast as a Jedi, you will have a jet pack.
The studio has provided only bits of information so far. For instance, ILMxLAB revealed the two new characters that will be coming to the series. There is ‘Dok-Ondar’ who is a visitor from the Den of Antiquities and is seen on the right above. Then there is his trusty translation droid who is seen to be helping his Ithorian pal as he irons out a deal in Seezelslak’s Cantina.
Should this installment be like the first one, there will be a steady drip of information coming out as we move closer to the launch date of the title.
The series will reportedly conclude after the fourth installment. ILMxLAB has promised to release more details as they prepare for the launch later this year.
