Walkabout Mini Golf Slated for July 15 Release, Developers Want Beta Testers Before Release
Walkabout Mini Golf is slated for launch on July 15 on Steam. The developers are now looking for beta testers before its release.
The game was created by Mighty Coconut and is currently regarded as one of the best multiplayer games on Oculus Quest. It features realistic physics as well as a growing collection of courses that you can play. Ahead of its July 15 release on Steam, the title’s developers are currently looking for beta testers. Interested users can sign up via the form in this link before June 30. The beta period starts on July 1. The form states that people should only sign up if they are “willing to actively test and report encountered bugs in the Beta.”
The Walkabout Mini Golf Steam page lists its compatibility with all the major VR headsets. The game will even feature a full cross-play that is supported for up to five players in a “private room with voice chat no matter what platform they’re playing on.” Walkabout Mini Golf features seven different courses as well as an unlockable “night mode” which modifies the holes and makes them harder. There is also some sort of an Easter egg hunt that has custom balls hidden around every level that you can collect along with treasure hunts on the hard courses whereby the clues can be found on your wristwatch which unlock a special putter when solved.
The game is now available on Steam and has an expanded player base to join you on its courses.
