Sony’s upcoming PSVR 2 headset will launch with more than 20 “major first party and third-party titles”, the tech giant has confirmed in a fresh business briefing to investors.

This info is available on page 23 of Games & Network Devices Segment PDF document from the briefing. The document also mentions previously confirmed details on the specifications of the headset and controllers.

The page shows titles such as Horizon: Call of the Mountain, which has already been confirmed for PSVR 2. However, Sony is yet to confirm the launch date of the PSVR 2 headset but it looks like the headset is more likely to launch in 2023.

Among Us VR is set to arrive on other platforms later in the year although it has also been confirmed for the PSVR 2 headset when it releases which is likely to be on launch day.

Another confirmed PSVR 2 launch title is Firmament which has already confirmed optional support for the PSVR 2 headset. A flatscreen release of Firmament is however happening later this year on PS5.

The studio that gave us Jurassic World: Aftermath, Coatsink, is also reportedly working on a PSVR 2 launch title although it is yet to give many specifics on this.

There are also other studios that are working on PSVR 2 titles but that are yet to flesh out the details or release windows. However, there are some games that avid players should expect from the leading studios.

Fast Travel Games, known for titles such as Cities: VR and Wraith: The Oblivion, recently confirmed that it is working on various PSVR 2-focused projects. There could be a Cities: VR port for PSVR 2 given that the studio has hinted of the same for other virtual reality platforms beyond Meta Quest 2.

First Contact Entertainment, known for Firewall: Zero Hour is also doing a PSVR 2 project although it isn’t clear whether it will be for the launch date. There is also nDreams (behind Phantom: Covert Ops and Fracker) has said it is working on various next-gen games for PSVR 2.

Truant Pixel’s Runner is also slated for a PSVR 2 release but the studio is yet to confirm a release window.

Samurai Slaughter House has already been confirmed for PSVR 2. Iris VR’s upcoming Low-Fi is also coming to PSVR 2.

There are a number of rumored but yet to be confirmed games that may be coming to PSVR 2 such as Gran Turismo 7, Farpoint 2, Resident Evil 8, and many more.
