The virtual cities in Little Cities VR for Quest are coming alive following a fresh update to the VR game.

Little Cities is a Quest city-building simulation VR game. It is available on both Quest 2 and Quest Pro.

With the new update, Little Cities now has citizens who go about their business. The little virtual citizens walk about the city and interact with its features, including parks, buildings, and various other attractions.

The beings in Little Cities are hanging out on the beaches, making barbecues in the park, or sitting in the stadium watching a soccer game.

As a result, the virtual cities in the VR title are now brimming with life and not just cars and birds.

The virtual reality game Little Cities was created by the studio Purple Yonder, a small studio run by a married couple. The two have maintained the city-simulation game with a series of updates over the past 10 months.

Little Cities recently received a few attractions. It is now possible to play the game completely via hand tracking which works marvelously.

Little Cities was natively built for virtual reality and do not provide long playing time. However, it has been rendered beautifully and offers a better experience than the other immersive city-building game, Cities: VR.

Little Cities features a menu and intuitive controls with which players can immerse themselves into a “city-building flow” that leverages the interactive strengths of virtual reality.

Little Cities features graphics that have been adapted for the platform’s performance. The game runs on the Quest 1 headset, too. The graphics are coherent and pleasant to look at, a sharp contrast from the pixelated world of Cities: VR.

The success of Little Cities is proof that you need more than just photorealistic graphics for a quality and successful VR game. The game must have a convincing concept in its gameplay, controls, graphics, and performance. A perfect example of this is Walkabout Mini Golf which immerses players in complex and visually stunning experiences with new courses.

Little Cities is available in the Quest Store. The latest Little Citizens update that adds people to the virtual cities is already live.
